Principal aims
The LOGICA Laboratory is an advanced center of base and applied interdisciplinary research, able to aggregate in synergic way the existing scientific competences in the regional universities and to promote processes of development for the Technological District of the Logistics in Gioia Tauro, through innovative and competent support addressed to the companies operating in sector as Transport, Logistics, Agri-food, Mechanics, Industrial Technologies.
Research activities
The Laboratory research activity is addressed mainly on the followings thematic:
- Models, technologies and tools for the analysis of the systems of freight transport and of the intermodal platform and logistic on the territory (Sector Transports and Logistics);
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Information Communication Technologies (ICT) to support the Transport and the Logistics;
- Applications of technologies to support the productive industry, logistic and the agri-food activities.
